Project Scope:
Provision of Technical, Engineering, and Project Management (TEPM) services for a 1500 MW undersea and underground electricity and telecommunications interconnection aimed at increasing energy exchange and supporting the transition to clean energy.
Services Provided:
Engineering: Conducted peer reviews to ensure specifications balanced functional design, performance requirements, and essential technical details.
Procurement: Advised on contractual clauses to guarantee EPC contractors meet performance requirements and adhere to rigorous quality management systems.
Manufacturing: Imposed requirements on OEMs for thorough inspection and testing programs, ensuring products meet project specifications.
Onshore & Offshore Construction: Provided technical oversight of EPC contractors, with dedicated site managers ensuring safety, quality, and issue resolution on-site.
Commissioning: Monitored and reviewed commissioning activities to ensure successful integration and operation of the system.
Operation & Maintenance: Advised early on design considerations for efficient operation and maintenance of the interconnector system.
Project Outcome:
