Project Scope:
Expert advisory support to ensure the correct interpretation and implementation of new European Network Codes into national grid codes, customer contracts, and operational processes. The project focused on translating regulatory requirements into practical technical and operational frameworks.

Services Provided:

• Provided technical expertise on frequency control requirements and contributed to operational and market-related Network Code implementation.

• Advised on significant grid user requirements, particularly in relation to generator and demand connection codes.

• Delivered expertise on HVDC-related requirements and their integration into national regulatory and operational frameworks.

• Supported the definition of technical requirements related to fault ride-through capability, short-circuit power contribution, and overall system robustness.

• Defined reactive power capability requirements and voltage control schemes for both centralized and decentralized generation units.

• Participated in European-level expert working groups to contribute to methodologies on security analysis, exceptional contingencies, observability areas, outage planning, and treatment of load and generation uncertainties.

Project Outcome:
Ensured consistent and technically robust transposition of European Network Codes into national frameworks, strengthening system security, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance.
