EGI provided technical and regulatory assistance to support the harmonisation of a national transmission code with ENTSO-E requirements. The assignment included a comprehensive review of European network codes, operational handbooks, and national electricity market regulations, followed by a detailed gap analysis to identify misalignments.

Based on this assessment, EGI supported the drafting of a first set of harmonised transmission regulations, including provisions for the integration of renewable and other generation technologies. The project also involved extensive stakeholder consultation through workshops and written consultations, as well as study tours and training activities to build institutional capacity. EGI further supported the review, consolidation, and finalisation of the updated transmission code to ensure alignment with European standards and operational best practices.
