Elia Grid submitted binding commercial offers for the planned high-voltage sub-sea transmission project to connect Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (Adnoc’s) offshore oil and gas production facilities to Abu Dhabi’s onshore national electricity grid

State oil company Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and Abu Dhabi Power Corporation (ADPower) have received proposals for a multi-billion high-voltage sub-sea transmission project to connect Adnoc’s offshore oil and gas production facilities to ADPower’s onshore national electricity grid.

Ukrenergo signed an agreement with Elia Grid International on the provision of advisory services on restructuring (reengineering) of the dispatch function and the successful integration of the Ukrainian energy system into ENTSO-E. It is reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.

EuroAsia Interconnector Limited has issued the Invitations to Tender (ITT) for its 2000 MW EuroAsia Interconnector which aims connect Cyprus, Crete and Attica in Greece, and Israel with the rest of Europe. The tenders cover converter stations and three cable links between the aforementioned nations. The combined value of the tenders is over EUR 3bn.
